RANDOM THOUGHTS ABOUT CHANGING OUR WORLD - or are you alright Jack?
The thoughts of writing randomly and, hopefully, interestingly allowed
for the reader to imagine, ultimately, that our thoughts could result
in establishing a synthesis of ideas for global human benefit. Thus we
could inspire actions to establish mutual benefits based upon wider,
forgiveness, sharing, integrity and many other ‘ways’ for
the prospect of mending the human wellbeing in our otherwise World of
Wonders. All the foregoing personal and group attributes are shown to
be lacking in the wide- ranging mass media every day.
Unfortunately many people do not feel they want to know about such human frailty
and excuse themselves by asking ‘what’s in it for me’? Is
this because they already enjoy their own comfort zone and are prepared to
suffer the fear of terrorism or of being stripped of their pensions or of coping
with the effects of global warming etc, etc, etc?
Perhaps it is a case of another cliché such as, ‘what can one
person do?’ or ‘it let it be done by someone else’ among
many other similes. As you can see these are all negative forms of resistance
to change. Look what happened to New Orleans when they resisted the change
and expense required to improve their sea walls or levees as they were called
and there are many other situations where change at some human inconvenience
or monetary expense is advisable before an obviously prospective catastrophe.
Such situations shown as risky or hazardous when left unattended are for reasons
of the negative so how do we persuade ourselves that to take up positive attitudes
would be beneficial?
Positivity is an energy made up of the joules of energy within our psyche which
can be mobilized into actions. Should the citizens of New Orleans have energized
themselves to be inconvenienced and bear the cost involved to keep the sea
waters out or were they better off as things were? When I was ‘called
to the colours for King and country’ in 1940 to go to war should I have
pleaded as a conscientious objector to be excused military service? Where was
my protective energy then? Destiny is in our own hands to the following extent.
A SOLILOQUY
Two sentences from pages 344/345 of the book by Neale Donald Walsch titled “The
New Revelations” read ‘What we need right now is a new idea
within humanity about humanity itself, an idea that could create an enormous
and lasting change in how we see and experience ourselves and in how
we live our lives.” “The New Revelations” are uniquely
definitive and in juxtaposition with the to and fro surrounding Peace
Studio. After the tragedies like 9/11 in New York and Madrid on 11th
March 2004 and London on 7/7/05 and many others before and after who
can deny this new superhuman effort is worthwhile, albeit maybe a long
haul depending upon how many joules we all put into a change for betterment?
FEASIBILITY OF GODLYANITY TO SUIT ALL RELIGIONS
Our planet is in a sad state from many ill-chosen human practices but,
what to do about it? The religions are the widest recognised organisations
containing mostly good, educated leaders of integrity with support
staff. Practitioners in all faiths contain many teachers of vocational
learning but their attributes are being lost upon their congregations
because of the lack of clear and effective means by which to better
the human condition. A shift is imperative to achieve the objects of
life set by the Love of The Almighty.
A paradigm shift would be, simply, to establish a network of linked minds
and hearts among people of all nations and cultures by more widely practising
TASKS. New networks of Godlyan Guilds, working in accord with each other,
would gain credence, acceptance and value by coming together in the day-to-day
commonality of love.
For secularists and others yet to accept the concept of An Almighty Being
the following quotation from ‘Inter religious Insight’ of
World Congress of Faiths’ monthly journal of January 2003 is appropriate.
The author of the quotation is Professor Hans Kung, Director of the Global
Ethic Foundation, Tubingen, Germany. “The religions have contributed
a great deal to the spiritual and moral progress of human society; it
is also clear, however, that non-religious people have a basic orientation
and lead a moral life. Indeed in history non-religious people have often
pioneered a new sense of human dignity and done more for human emancipation,
freedom of conscience, freedom of religion and other human rights than
their religious counterparts.”
Wherever ‘LOVE through TASKS’ is taught and accepted, its
simplicity, integrity and practicality will demonstrate harmony, balance,
freedom and inclusiveness to allow for and transcend all apparent differences.
The teaching and practising – before every thought, word and deed – of
TASKS will enable all practitioners to be recognised as GODLYANS to create
GODLYANITY in GODLYANDOM on Earth. Secularists and Humanists equally
practice ‘LOVE through TASKS’ - which is neither a cult or
power base- to be developed by the people for the people for overall
creature benefit. This vision of betterment of human conditions by the
adoption, teaching of and support for Godlyanism is to save Mother Earth
for future generations by which to enjoy betterment. Over the long term,
TASKS would destroy many selfish power bases of greed and corruption
with their disregard of poverty, famine, sickness and the killing of
millions of defenceless humans among us. Who is next to suffer before
the healing process of TASKS prevails?
THE BASIC ETHICS OF ALL FAITHS
There are many messengers, assistance bearers and disciplined disciples who
help and advocate methods for the return to peace and prosperity that is lacking
in many lands. To illustrate the imperative mood required by which to achieve
human betterment for the sick, starving and dispirited and to assist those
without the essential means for even a basic humble life, the following is
an excerpt from an article in the April 2003 issue of The Beacon published
by The Lucis Trust and written by Wayne Sterba:
“
The Experimental Test of the Aquarian Hypothesis is simply to establish a worldwide
network of linked minds and hearts. This network will include people from all
nations, cultures and religions – even non-believers. However, humanity
will be faced with seemingly impossible tasks therefore simplicity of design
is the touchstone and a global grassroots spiritual movement toward contact
with Higher Order Planetary Intelligence (HOPI) which excludes no one; only
the individual excludes him/herself.
“
A worldwide network of linked minds and hearts needs a simple invocation that
permits verbal expression of the idealised goal and allows the major religions
to come together in a common plea. The invocation should be an expression of
simple precepts of evolution toward globally distributed consciousness and
contain universal truths recognisable by all. The design of the invocation
should demonstrate simplicity, harmony, balance and inclusiveness. All this
to be reflected in precise wording and phrasing to produce singularity in its
mental and verbal intonation with unity of mental intention the all-important
factor. For humanity it involves a single simple idea that transcends all apparent
differences and expresses timeless truth.
“
In order to save Mother Earth humanity must find its collective soul. Individual
souls have had their chance -even groups of individual souls- but they are
failing. Humanity must now find that point wherein selflessness and altruism
on a broad scale can be recognized, consciously strived for and lived through
the collective soul. The spiritual pioneers of the planet can begin to take
this step even if political, religious and scientific leaders do not. If not
the spiritual pioneers, then who? ”
The foregoing is a template for the new endeavour required of humanity through
our return to God, by the wider use of our own ‘bit of Godlyness’ within
our being as Godlyans in Godlyanity, by “LOVE through TASKS”, the
best answer to our prayers for healing the world.
STATEMENT OF DYNAMIC INTENT
We can link our minds in an invocative, idealised expression for global distribution
of universal truths of simplicity and inclusiveness, to achieve harmony and
balance with unity of purpose, all encapsulated in the dynamic TASKS, for humanity
to find its collective soul. The majority of people presently practise TASKS
and are already, unknowingly, Godlyans, in every faith. Therefore Godlyanity
need not seem idealistic nor is it beyond the wit of man to create Godlyandom
on earth by making it contagious like laughter.
THE ULTIMATE – A ONE WORLD ASSOCIATION
From the time that humans inhabited the earth people have moved about
in relative freedom. During the course of their roving they naturally
had families that developed into tribes and kingdoms. These groups
formed their territories from which their boundaries were set which
took on names to eventually become known as ‘countries’ or ‘nations’ in
which innate cultures developed from their own characteristics and
behaviour.
The boundaries of the nations often had defensible methods that led peoples
to guard their borders for the benefit and security of their compatriots.
In the course of these protective measures leaders of neighbouring territories
became belligerent or greedy and invaded each other for whatever purpose
suited them. Invasive activities, as in Europe historically, are an example
of what humanity has endured but who, latterly, have come to recognise
that the continents are really one big family each being part of a wholly
global one to work in unison.
At this time of the early years of the third millennium the movement
of people continues, albeit less by warring over boundaries but more
so by millions of people seeking their betterment away from their native
countries. Some of these people flee from persecution and become asylum
seekers; others look for improved social conditions as immigrants to
host nations where controls once prevailed but under the pressures of
people movement the controls are of little use. Great adjustment, generousity
and tolerance among all is now required.
It is not unreasonable to assume that hardly any means can now be adopted
by which floods of human traffic can be halted. Countries cannot take
up arms against the seekers and it seems there is little option for host
territories but to find the means from their own resources and ‘systems’ by
which to avail food and shelter for the seekers. If this kind of fatalism
is bound to happen how does either side accept the responsibilities and,
in addition, adopt philosophies of tolerance and care in such very trying
times for all concerned? The turbulence leaves little option but for
everyone to adjust a synthesis and oneness by renewed energies.
The story of humanity creating its own conditions for peace has a long
road to travel as illustrated by current conditions to be overcome. For
example the United Nations Association has yet to find congenial answers
among the members who represent nations of varying size and power, as
it is unlikely the nations can ever be ‘united.’ Unity cannot
come about until all members have a better regard for each other, in
every respect, by re-organising themselves under a more appropriate title
and with rules of governance for a new impetus as, say, a One World Association.
The acceptance of the vision of ‘association’ seems more
in prospect than ‘united’ for neither status should ever
have power over but could have power with.
Since the speech made on 22nd September 2003 by the Secretary General
of the U.N. Mr. Kofi Annan it is obvious he is an outstanding leader
of our times though his son appears to have let him down. Could we enable
him, under the auspices and administration of the U.N., to promulgate
efficacious Tasks for Peace for the wider benefit of the peoples of the
One World by ‘Love through TASKS’?
These are some of the situations about which the people of host nations
and asylum seekers are now, unknowingly, requiring new thinking in the
main forum in New York.
PRECEPTS FOR ALL IN TASKS FOR PEACE
While fideism denotes the improbability of proof of the existence of
God then the search for proof remains purely academic. When our fidelity – loyalty
to duty – is to God as well as to each other then Kindness becomes
the mainspring of Love in our spiritual faith.
For those of us who believe in a One God, possibly the majority, it matters
little that the remainder choose another belief providing they recognise
the truth of Kindness as in Love. God’s infinite Love, common to
all, enables power based minorities to contribute their love to overcome
much selfishness, divisiveness and confrontation which obstruct the paths
to Peace.
GODLYANISM – A BROADER THEOLOGY
Humanity can beget Godlyans – Godlyanity – Godlyandom to
show their providence for inter-faith dialogue. Godlyans accept and practice

Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Synthesis.
GODlyanism is practical for everyone to become:
Baha’i Godlyans, Buddhist Godlyans
Christian Godlyans,
Confucian Godlyans Hindu Godlyans Jewish Godlyans,
Islamic Godlyans, Quaker Godlyans Sikh Godlyans etc. inclusive of all religions which are enabled to remain autonomous
after practicing TASKS together with any non-believers who care to join
in.
Accepting this as an invitation to energise the effort to create the peace
why not answer back accordingly?
