Our World in 2008.
Introducing a new dimension to philosophies to encourage partial reconciliation between peoples of various faiths and written for the widest interest among devotees. Agnostics, atheists, secularists and others can join in this philosophy.
The salient points of the new dimension are in the segments of love which are in the acronym TASKS for Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Synthesis; these segments of love can affect all things we do whether used or absent.
The new dimension is to be called Godlyanity from The Godlyan Theory
which states:
“
We were all created with free-will the blessing of which enables ‘LOVE
through TASKS’ of our fellow beings as much as we love ourselves
for betterment”.
Hearts and minds could adopt a ‘can do’ attitude by improving
our energetics to move the minority bases of ‘power over’ to
bases that adopt the ‘power with’ approach by the people
for the people to benefit all life on Mother Earth. (Energetics in this
context is our own energy being measured in joules of energy - the measure
for the physical energy of electricity which is naturally in our bodies – and
conveniently phonetic with jewels, by authors license, the better to
illustrate TASKS which may be regarded as our brightest ‘jewels’ of
energy)
Consider the following, from my book “PALS-Philosophy And Life
Stuff” for debate without rancour:-
NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST OR NEW CLEAR LOVE
Modern warfare and terrorism includes the obscenity of chemical and
biological weapons which result in crimes against humanity. Upon whose
authority are they made and used? Surely not that of the people or is
it naïve to ask in questionable democracies? Among the many questions
are two - for whose benefit and, what can we do?
Deep synthesis among the religions has little chance to improve circumstances
because the religions remain power based and competitive. We, the people, can
create a catalyst for all the religions by the acceptance and practice of ‘GODLYANITY’-
based upon each of us having a little bit of God within us – to become
the international effort of every religion and denomination – each religion
remaining autonomous - to achieve a basic synthesis. The recovery of unity
towards God through a variety of paths could result in the improvement of human
regard for the religions to be spearheaded by new practices of leadership among
their hierarchy and followers.
Ethical values could be promulgated by the religions and other human entities
if they were to adopt non-competitive all-inclusive attitudes and utilise ‘LOVE
through TASKS’ in GODLYANITY. More freedom and goodwill would result
from the improved jouels of energy in people to develop this new scenario into
everyone’s daily life. The freedom generated as GODLYANS, those who openly
practice TASKS, could be displayed for example, as Catholic Godlyans or Protestant
Godlyans or Islamic Godlyans or Jewish Godlyans etc or do we continue on our
deadly course and resign ourselves to the horrors of fear and misery from the
small but influential greedy, destructive, power bases.
In an article published by the Daily Mail in London on 2nd December 2002 there
is an extract from a book called Bible Code 2 by Michael Drosnin: “The
Bible code is not a prediction that we will all die in 2006. It is a warning
that we might all die in 2006, if we do not change our future. What we do here
and now, here on earth, will determine our fate,” The uplifting of the
religions is what we can do, here and now, as shown above, for the benefit
of all mankind.
The critical situation in which humanity finds itself needs to recover its
faith in ‘LOVE through TASKS’. The Ten Commandments and many similar
historical imperatives have become disdained and until they recover their operative
effect TASKS can supplement them as the FIVE ETHICAL DUTIES before overall
integrity is the loser.
AN ‘EASY’ MUSE
An aside to a serious subject, perhaps trivial, is the degree of ‘ease’ with
which things in life may be regarded as ‘easy’. The degree
is dependent upon so many human attitudes and physical circumstances.
However, in order to adopt a beneficial frame of mind at every opportunity,
people can try to enable a sense of ease with which to face difficult
situations.
Try the following to enable a habit to introduce a sense of ‘ease’.
Widen the lips slightly and mentally form the letters ‘ee’.
This will, quite naturally, make the facial muscles break into a small
smile not, of course, to adopt an air of levity but a sincere one in
which the introduction of a light smile will be a good basis to consider
serious subjects, to speak to others or to carry out one’s next
assisting deed. Then TASKS can be more readily practiced.
PURSUING OUR BETTERMENT
When we accept that we can bring ourselves closer by unlimited brotherly and
sisterly ‘LOVE through TASKS’- by a great effort from us all- it
could overcome many of the spin-doctors in The Web of Wiles who bring about
the mayhem. From our own initiative the wider practice of TASKS could reduce
the unending divisive and confrontational strife between the political, economic,
religious, civic and other man-made cultures that intervene in our pursuit
of Peace. Truthfulness and integrity with a sense of duty are presently demeaned
and only we humans can recover them through TASKS.
TASKS can lead towards the reduction of the disruptive and destructive practices
that abound. The benefits and beauty of this World of Wonders, created by The
Almighty, can come to us when we will ourselves to be better practitioners
of ‘LOVE through TASKS’. Thereafter most of our given or chosen
beliefs can harmlessly manifest themselves for global betterment of all living
things.
The variety of religions, created by many leaders over thousands of years,
built their power bases from which wars and a wide, long history of corruption
and human suffering have resulted. Historically, the influence of God was couched
in fearful terms by the leaders making it easier for them to maintain control
over their followers. Be sure, there is no need to have fear of our Almighty
Creator by whichever name known, or even of our natural earthly fathers unless
the latter deviate from the practices of TASKS, for God is Greater than that
and can be relied upon, in whichever faith one is taught or believes, to be
always available with His Guiding Light and His Unconditional Love. There is
no point in God being otherwise. He/she cannot be pleased with the complacency
in most of us that allows the power bases of minorities to become sufficiently
powerful to continue their Web of Wiles. This complacency only helps to trap
the unwary or the helpless among people into conditions and practices that
are less than the best in this, otherwise, World of Wonders.
We are able to refer to God at any moment, to hew our Higher Endeavouring Wills
as Godlyans for the betterment of all mankind. Many religious and political
and corporate leaders and other individuals have not been and are not now practising
TASKS. This is evidenced by the ongoing troubles of the world and, though many
kindly individuals and groups are advocating and trying to improve matters,
much more needs to be done on a wider scale by each of us in support during
this third millennium.
In a later essay The Challenge can, if we each will it, become the basis of
a philosophy requiring a new effort to teach unlimited ‘LOVE through
TASKS’ after which all practitioners would be free, as Godlyans, to continue
his or her beliefs with a clear conscience. Such a wide-ranging change in teaching
and practice in everything would establish a better behavioural environment
from which the well being and relative freedom of all living creatures would
benefit. Later essays will also be subjects on how to use and display Godlyanity
including other new proposals for consideration to achieve global betterment.

In support of the foregoing a little of the background to the above lines of thinking arises from my autobiography- “Venturesome Spirit’ - which spans time over the 20th century starting with the birth of my parents in the 1890’s until the present day. There may be some aspects from such a life that are worthy of circumspection about what we can do to make life on Mother Earth more pleasurable for more of humanity.
